Terrible Blogger

I really am a terrible blogger. I have tried to be organized and do this everyday but honestly life gets in the way.  I want to be a blogger and get my ideas out, have fun and get a decent amount of readers. Share my thoughts, ideas, tutorials. So far I haven't been able to complete it. Maybe Once a week I can write. I can schedule that time in. Sure. Sounds easy enough though. I hope to get it all down. I going to my calender and scheduling in time to do it. If i Schedule it in, I have to do it .

So for now this is only a motivation to get my to do this but I'm terrible with commitment so I'm forcing myself to do this.

Talk to you soon. Autumn

I guess there is something wrong with me.

Seriously, I mean what kind of title is that but it's how I'm feeling...

It seems as though all the "friends" just end up ending our friendship & ignoring me.  Well yet again I hang out with a few people, they save they love to hang out with me and say they want to do stuff . Now I'm being ignored and purposely left out.

It's quite ridiculous. This isn't the first time it's happened. Is it me? I honestly try to be a good person and be nice to everyone & go above & beyond for these people and they ignore me and I'm pretty sure they purposely leave me out of something that clearly involves me.

I'm just done making friends. If people want to be friends with me, they can try because I will do the Godly thing and be  kind to everyone but I'm done trying to hard to be a good friends to people.

I'm frustrated. I can't even completely type out my feelings because they are all jumbled in anger right now. I think I'm going to go lay in bed, read a few verses from the Bible and go to bed..

Then I will come back tomorrow night and tell you about my busy 2 months (:

Lies, Lies, Lies

That's what you feel like I've been feeding you. I said I'd be in on to write earlier this week. WELL  Let me tell you about that.

Tuesday night Bravo Co. played in the finales for the flag football tournament. We had to play Chet who was undefeated. To win the whole thing we had to beat them twice. It was a very close game until the end but they ended up beating us so we came in second place. Not bad right. Even got some cute little trophies.

Then before the game, my husband had a doctor's appt to where he finds out he has pneumonia. So we were relaxing on Wednesday night.

Thursday I get a call from my husband who is now being put on quarters and will be stuck at home for the next 72 hours and cannot leave the house... So we sit at home all weekend relaxing .

I go to the doctor on Friday & I find out I have walking pneumonia ERGGGGH. That put a damper on our weekend. We have family coming in on Friday so I have to get the house prepared for them to come...

So instead of writing our house is trying to get our health up...

97 Degrees in June in TEXAS & we both get pneumonia . What's wrong with us!

I am going to try to write again this week before family comes in again but it's not promised

Here's the Thing.

When I always thing of what I'm good at, I come up blank. I always feel like a person normally excels at one certain thing VERY well.  No matter what, that one person has something they know they can do. Sew, cook, sing. write, dance, paint , math, science , & you get my picture.

During High school I never really excelled at those. Sports sure but honestly,  reality of doing something that long for pleasure isn't possible. I want to be great at something that really makes a difference. I don't know maybe it's the dreamer in me.

Then I realized I am really a good reader. I enjoy reading books and I'm pretty good and fast at it. I  can normally read a book within a day or so if I really get into it. I always feel like I'm apart of that book and have my own character.

I also think I'm good at saving money (on somethings). I have always loved to get good deals & garage sale.

Let me tell you some stories of my past. When I was in elementary, I remember in the spring, my mom used to call me in sick on Friday's & we would go yard sailing and find awesome things. It's been in my blood since I was a kid. I can remember riding in her van driving around to find some things. I can never remember what we bought but I remember driving around with no cares in the world with her & Drema, Steph & Dani. It is one of my best memories of her......

Back to my money saving. I really think my niche is couponing. I know how to do it. I know the policies pretty well & I save us a decent amount of money on most of our products. I think I will try to start posting my deals when I do them. I went tonight & will post the savings tomorrow .

Good night readers

Oh I've missed you.....

I've missed being on here writing and letting my feelings out. Finally the Rowland house is back in 100% health. We have been battling the sickness for weeks now & I'm hoping it's gone for good....

I've been compiling a list of things I've wanted to blog about. Most of it is what I've asked my friends of what they think a housewife should know how to do. I must say some is depending on what works with your family. I've figured out what I think I should know how to do well & then what I know.

When I was growing up, my mom did everything for us so we wouldn't have to. I never did chores, dishes, laundry, cooking, and cleaning. She did it all because she wanted my dad & I to never do anything. I never appreciated it as much as I do now.. I never got the chance to tell her thank you  or even learn how to do it. She passed away when I was 15 . So after that, my dad & I had to learn to do everything but I was still in high school.  I had sports 24/7 & my dad worked so I still never learned... Once I graduated and I barely had to cook because I went to friends houses where their parent's cooked for me..

So learning on my own is very hard. I can't pick up the phone & ask my mom how to do something. I can ask my mother in law or other family but I want to try to do it on my own. I will give you a list of what I'm learning to do & then do the normal blog thing & post pictures of me trying and either failure or success.

My list so far is:

1.Cooking- I am thinking from scratch instead of boxed meals because I am home all day. I should be able to prepare a meal. Laziness does set in sometimes but 98% of the time it's from scratch & healthy ingredients

2. Cleaning- Sweeping, dusting, mopping, etc. I'm learning to make my own cleaning supplies but I recently fell in love with Method Cleaning Products & am very tempted to just keep purchasing these instead of making it because it smells DIVINE!

3. Laundry- I normally just throw everything together and put it on cold and clean. I'm going to investigate the "right" way to do laundry & try to fix my current way of doing it.

4. Organizing-  For us this includes our stockpile from couponing & everyday house items. Picking up & putting away regular items & try to make our house nicer.

5. Budgeting- We've been doing better with our budget. We need to be more diligent with it but we're slowly getting it perfect.  Our bills are paid on time & also I coupon to keep our out of pocket cost down.

6. Ironing- Which is one thing I've never learned how to do. I would love for our clothes to not be wrinkly when I leave them in the dryer a few days longer than they should (; . This one I will be learning very soon since I want to look nice.

7. Education- We do have a two year old who is very smart and I try to keep up with him and his learning abilities. I need to have a schedule to include some learning projects .

That's most of my list & if you can think of anything else please leave a comment so I can add it to my list.

Long time no Post.

Is how I felt today... I have been dealing with a sick 2 year old since Saturday. He so far is getting a little better but we still have one issue which is getting worse so I have to watch him like a hawk to check on him. Then yesterday my husband comes home very sick early from work with a different sickness from Dean. I had two sickly ones to take care of.

So today will be my housewife duties. I have to vacuum, wash dishes, fold clothes, start another load of laundry. I am about to take vinegar to everything these two have touched to try to get this thing out of here. I think Dean's is a stomach virus so I can't technically push it out but hey, I can try because it's tiring on a mom.

So I wanted to check in & keep this short to let you know I'm still keeping up my blog but it's taken a day break to take care of the family

San Antonio Living.

This cold brisk morning in San Antonio has me bundled up laying of the couch and watching some tv with the munchkin. We have on HGTV & ironically Biggest Bang for Your Buck is on, in San Antonio. It made me thinking of how much I love this city.  This area is so charming and it has very beautiful aspects. I remember the first time I was here in July 2009. I was visiting my husband in Ait on July 4th weekend... It was about 115 degrees when I was here. Uh. I was so sick, I think it was the heat plus all the alcohol we drank but hey. Let's roll with the heat. 4 years later I never want to leave this city.

I would be happy with just buying a house & living here forever. Somewhere out in the country a ways where we have no neighbors would be nice....However with my husband's hatred for warm weather and his wanting to be in the snow, I doubt this can be our permanent home. I am though, going to take the most of our opportunity here & do things... Hopefully soon my husband has some free time on the weekends to visit the missions, Gruene & the Gristmill. I'm making my list of places to go & places to eat but it's hard to keep track because there is a lot to do & eat.

Yet, Dean is feeling a little better & is up playing now so I'm off to go do my mom job right now .

So, Let's begin.

Well, here I am at 11:13 at night and I'm starting my first blog post... Thanks to my good friend Stephanie Duffy Blogger at My Life With Boys, She made my layout for my blog & I'm so appreciative of it.

I will give you the rundown of what will happen on this blog & what I will post. Sometimes I might post about my couponing trips. Others could be about homemade things we've tried, our crafts, recipes, Cooking & my new & improved adventure with God.

Basically the life of a wannabe housewife because lets face it, I am NO Martha Stewart, Betty Crocker, Aunt Jemima  or even Marge Simpson (; .It will give me somewhere to post my thoughts, feelings, vents, prayers, etc.

So tonight is over & it's time for me to go to bed. I have a sick little boy to tend to tomorrow.
